June 16, 2016 — For the past 14 years, Les Whitver has been the illustrious leader of MST’s men and women of steel as the Vice President of Operations. Under his leadership, MST has undergone immense growth and seen success on all fronts. To recognize his dedication, retirement and countless achievements, MST christened its new cold pilger mill – the final component of a five-year capital expansion project – The L.H. Whitver Pilger Mill.
Les’ legacy will never be forgotten, but MST is fortunate to have a team of capable individuals to step up for a seamless transition in leadership. With 35 years of experience in the industry, including 10 years in operations, Ted Fairley has expanded his role from Vice President – Sales & Marketing to overall Vice President – MST. And to work alongside Ted, Tom Sleder has been appointed General Manager of Operations and will oversee day-to-day operations of MST. Ted and Tom are both highly qualified for these positions and are ready to bring their ideas for innovation and continued advancement to the table.
