South Lyon, Mich., (February 10, 2011) – MST Seamless Tube & Pipe (MST) has recently launched a renovated website to coincide with the manufacturer’s new name, logo and tagline. The South Lyon-based manufacturer of seamless tube and pipe made slight modifications to its name and is now known as MST Seamless Tube & Pipe, rather than Michigan Seamless Tube.

“It’s a subtle name change,” said Ted Fairley, vice president of sales & marketing. Customers already refer to the company as MST, so the name change was a logical next step. “It better reflects our diverse product line and puts more focus on our pipe business, which has seen notable increases over the past two years,” said Fairley.

The company also has introduced a newly renovated website – – which is now simpler to navigate and enables new and potential customers to see a comprehensive overview of the products and services provided by MST. “We’re thrilled to have a new, stronger presence on the Internet,” said Fairley. “It allows potential new customers to learn more about MST and make contact with us quickly and easily.” Incorporated into the new website is the manufacturers’ new tagline: “It’s About Time.” This simple statement reinforces MST’s quick response and turnaround time. It also expresses the relief a customer may feel when they experience the exceptional customer service MST provides.

Two new hires have joined the MST executive team. Bob Stokes joins the company as Controller, and Raul Holguin comes to the company to work on International Business Development.

As controller, Stokes will fill a vital role as part of the MST executive management team and will bring considerable experience to the team and the company. Previously, Stokes held high-level positions in numerous companies, acting as chief financial officer, director of finance and controller. “Bob’s proven experience in tax accounting; mergers and acquisitions; costs systems and IT systems will help us meet our financial goals and continue on our path of annual growth,” said Whitver.

In his new position, Holguin will apply his extensive experience with international logistics and transportation to expediting customers’ orders. Holguin, who speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese, will interface with MST customers and prospects throughout Mexico, Central America and South America. “This new position is integral to boosting our international efforts, which have seen a significant increase over the past year as new customers from Mexico, Chile, Columbia and Brazil turn to MST,” said Les Whitver, vice president of operations. “I’m certain Raul will play an essential role in growing our business even further.”
